Postdoctoral Associate
Akilavalli Narasimhan, PhD., is a postdoctoral associate in the laboratory of Dr. Laura Niedernhofer, Director of the Masonic Institute for the Biology of Aging and Metabolism at the University of Minnesota. She is interested in identifying the molecular defects that are responsible for age-related eye diseases. Her outside interests include spending time with her husband and son, and many active outdoor activities such as gardening, playing tennis, volleyball.
