Undergraduate Research Student

Doheto Christian Boton graduated with an Associate's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from Riverland Community College in May 2022. Currently, he is pursuing his undergraduate studies at CFAN, majoring in Pre-Veterinary/Animal Science. Doheto also works as a Student Tech Support in Dr. Laura Niedernhofer’s lab in the mouse core. His academic interests lie in studying Aging and chronic diseases. In addition to his academic pursuits, Doheto serves in the Minnesota National Guard as a Combat engineer and U.S. Army Cadet Corps| ROTC University of Minnesota. His long-term goal is to contribute to improving animal health by dining and implementing disease prevention programs on farms and food production facilities, while continuing his military service in the veterinary corps. In his leisure time, he enjoy playing basketball.
