Maggie has a B.S. from the University of Notre Dame where she studied biology and visual communication design. Coming from a background of bacterial quorum sensing and biofilm formation research, Maggie is interested in the application of molecular and cellular biology in improving human health. Currently, as a researcher in the Niedernhofer lab, she studies the aging of liver sinusoidal endothelial cells and works with the Mouse Core. Outside of the lab, Maggie spends her time drawing, enjoying the outdoors, baking, and listening to music.
