Mehek Jahan, B.A., is a lab technician in the lab of Dr. Laura J. Niedernhofer, M.D., Ph.D., Director of the Institute on the Biology of Aging and Metabolism at the University of Minnesota. She received her dual B.A. in Biology and Dance at St. Olaf College–where she primarily studied biochemistry, molecular biology, and cell biology. In her spare time, Mehek enjoys reading, crafting, and gardening. She also volunteers as an EMT and at a non-profit cardiology clinic.
